Buffalo-based wellness startup receives investment from Launch NY

Nara Therapy's uses generative AI to provide 24/7 mental health support, complementing the existing therapy journey.

Nara Therapy recently announced it has received an investment from Launch NY.

The Buffalo-company, cofounded by Perez Willie-Nwobu and Joshua Onoh, was formed based on the mental wellness journey of Willie-Nwobu. It previously received a $100,000 investment from the University at Buffalo's Innovation Seed Fund after participating in UB's Cultivator program.

The Launch NY investment "is positioned to expand their impact and reach more providers across the country," Launch NY said in an announcement. "We're excited to support their growth and mission to make mental healthcare more proactive and effective."
