TechBuffalo CEO Jeffrey Botteron's message about new partnership with Odoo, the Golisano Institute and 43North Foundation.
Buffalo’s talent story is evolving and this is what it looks like.
Today, TechBuffalo, the 43North Foundation, Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, and Odoo have come together to launch a new kind of partnership. One that directly connects education to real jobs.
This new talent development program serves as a template for better uniting local talent with employer needs.
Starting this fall, students at the Golisano Institute will have access to an Odoo-specific learning pathway, designed with the company.
That means:
At TechBuffalo, we’re building an operating system for a new economy in Buffalo, led by a stack of talent programs that rival the best practices across the U.S. This model aligns education, employer demand, and talent support from day one, creating a more direct path from training to employment.
Whether someone chooses a traditional four-year degree, an alternative model like Golisano Institute, or another route entirely, our job is to make sure there’s a plethora of high-quality options that each clearly connect to real opportunities within our growing innovation economy. Aligned pathways lead to placements, placements attract more employers, and momentum compounds.
We appreciate the pioneers such as Odoo and Golisano who are leading with a belief in better systems. And we look forward to stacking additional wins from this momentum.
