Women in Tech WNY returning for fifth year

Women in Tech WNY has become a much-anticipated annual event that pulls in hundreds of attendees.

This is the room.

Registration for Women in Tech WNY on March 26, 2026 is now live.

Women in Tech WNY, now in its fifth year, has grown into one of the Buffalo innovation economy’s largest community building events. What started as a two-hour event has turned into a half-day conference, featuring keynote speakers, fireside chats, and a dozen breakout sessions. The event is hosted at Seneca One Tower and registration begins at noon.

This event is designed to spark connections, share real stories, and highlight the women shaping what's next in tech, business, and innovation. Last year’s event had over 500 registrants.

This year, Women in Tech WNY will welcome over 20 speakers. Those include:

  • A former keynote speaker, reflecting on just how far this community has grown since she last took the stage.
  • A founder/funder chat on taking ideas from napkin to national-stage.
  • The architect of one of Buffalo’s most popular TikTok accounts.
  • A Buffalo Police Department Detective speaking on digital forensics.
  • The CIO of a $200+ billion financial institution
  • A woman who got her start in Buffalo tech at this very event.
  • And so many more.

This year’s keynote speaker is Linda Tai, Chief Information Officer, M&T Bank. She brings over 25 years of driving digital transformation within financial institutions, now doing so at one of Buffalo’s largest tech employers.

Breakout sessions will span artificial intelligence, data storytelling, DiSC assessment applications, content creation, career growth stories, and more. Sessions are seat-limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Women in Tech WNY is hosted by TechBuffalo, 43North, and Be in Buffalo, and Rich Products serves as the title sponsor.

In Buffalo, The City of Good Neighbors, community is a competitive advantage. And there is no day that is on better display than the annual Women in Tech WNY conference.
